Where the Desert Comes Alive! Whether you love boating, shopping at over a thousand vendor shops or relaxing under the stars in the desert, Quartzsite and all of La Paz County is the place to have fun all year long.
The winter brings hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world to the Quartzsite Vendor Show Grounds. Vendors by the thousands set up camp in and around town to sell their wares. Everything you could imagine and things you never knew existed can be found in Quartzsite From November through March of each year!
The Town of Parker has many motorsport events that offer some of the best off road challenges in the country. The Blue water Casino will keep you smiling while you try your hand at the slots or perhaps a game of poker. You can register your car at the MVD or obtain a new license.
The summer is hot with plenty to do at the river! Boating, swimming and water sports keep you cool when the temps hit the hundreds! The Colorado River is a short 17 miles from Quartzsite.
There are many State Parks in La Paz County and a short drive from Quartzsite. You can spend a day by the river enjoying a picnic or entertaining friends while barbequing your favorite steak! The state Parks are easy to access and provide primitive camping to full hook ups. Day use permits are available at the gate entries.
The desert offers thousands of square miles of BLM land for motor homes of all types, to dry camp for a very minimal charge or even for free. There are approximately 84 Rv Parks in Quartzsite
If you don’t own a motor home and would like to vacation or sell your wares in and around Quartzsite, there are a few RV Parks that offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates during the winter.
For the golf enthusiast , a short drive to Blythe California welcomes you to a good course for a minimal fee. Quartzsite has it’s own Desert Golf tournament each winter with rugged clubs chancing mother nature. For a challenge try Emerald Green Golf Course just north of Parker. This beautiful course will take you on a breathtaking 18 hole adventure along the Colorado River.
